Plugins We've Built
WordPress plugins we built for Islamic centers and community organizations to take care of everyday tasks. We maintain and update all of them.
Mohid Recurring Events
Stop Re-entering the Same Events Every Week
An events plugin made for masjids and Islamic centers. Add a weekly halaqa, Jumu'ah reminder or class once and it creates the dates for the next year automatically, so nobody has to keep adding them by hand.
- Weekly recurring events, generated a full year ahead
- Single-date and recurring events, side by side
- Color-coded categories (Jumu'ah, Iftar, classes, and more)
- Filter by month and category without reloading the page
- Switch between a card grid and a full calendar view
- Hover over an event to see its full details
- Works well on mobile
Mohid Business Directory
Give Local Sponsors a Proper Spot on Your Site
A sliding showcase for your local sponsors, vendors and community businesses, placed where visitors will actually see it instead of a link list in the sidebar.
- Simple admin form for each business: name, address, type, phone, email and flyer
- Gold-accented cards that show full contact details on hover
- Responsive slider: 1 card on mobile, up to 4 on desktop
- Upload flyers from the WordPress media library
- Phone, email and address shown right on the card
- Drop it anywhere on your site with a single shortcode
Mohid Announcements Bar
Put Important Updates Where People See Them
An announcement slider for the top of your homepage, for things people shouldn't miss like a new event, a deadline or an urgent notice.
- Auto-rotating slider that pauses the moment a visitor hovers over it
- Colored tag badges ("Important", "New", "Urgent") in any color you choose
- Optional date and "Read More" link on each announcement
- Manual prev/next arrows alongside the auto-rotation
- Add an announcement from the WordPress admin, no coding needed
- Drop it anywhere on your site with a single shortcode
